Here are the changes to the firmware update:

• Noise reduction processing is now performed with shutter speeds slower than 1 s (previously 8 s) when On is selected for Long Exp. NR in order to reduce the bright spots that occur with shooting of still images at slow shutter speeds.
• An issue that prevented the opening of movies recorded with the D7000 in certain movie editing software applications has been resolved.
• When the camera was connected to a television via the A/V cable and a movie was played back, playback was normal the first time but when the movie was played two or more times, the sound was played back at extremely low volume and seemed to play intermittently.  This issue has been resolved.
• When white balance for RAW images created using the camera’s image overlay function was fine tuned with Capture NX 2 or ViewNX 2, the images acquired a magenta cast.  This issue has been resolved.
• An issue that caused 0.00” to be displayed for heading information when the GP-1 GPS unit was connected to the camera has been resolved so that —.– is now displayed.
• When Viewfinder virtual horizon was the role assigned to the Fn button or the preview button and the applicable button was pressed, errors in the virtual horizon indicator were displayed.  This issue has been resolved.
• The following errors in Help displays have been resolved.
  • “Maximum sensitivity” help was displayed for shooting menu>ISO sensitivity settings>On or Off help
  • German help displayed “Select focus priority for AF-S mode.” for Custom Settings>a1: AF-C priority selection help .

They’ve added a download button for saving your content but it expires after May 13, 2011 and they encourage users to move the content to YouTube.

If you want to  download FireFox 4 before the official announcement, access the Mozilla releases FTP server ftp://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/4.0/. The official announcement should happen today.

I use Google Chrome as my main internet browser and after some initial tests with Firefox 4 I will keep using Chrome. FireFox still not good as Chrome when we compare resources and memory management. A simple test shows the difference, while Google Chrome uses only 180MB for 7 opened web sites, FireFox uses 250MB for the first 3 web sites I opened. If you starting using during several hours it will requires more resources, these resource will be released in most case when you close the web site (tab), another area where Chrome handle much better when and how to release the resources.

FireFox it is faster than it once was. It is better than it once was. It has many new and useful features. But, it’s in a dead-heat with the other browsers when it comes to speed.

All of my initial testes was using the Mac version of both browsers. I have already installed Internet Explorer 9 and used in some situations. I expected to publish a review soon.

Spain celebrate, celebrate, celebrate!!!

Now we have to wait 4 years for the next world cup which will take place in Brazil in 2014 and Brazil has the responsibility to win, the last World Cup in Brazil was in 1954 and we fail at the final game for Uruguay, but after that we won the World Cup 5 times :).

FIFA revealed the logo design for the next world cup. The logo is a representation of the World Cup trophy formed by three linked hands in the national colors of Brazil, yellow and green with the year of the tournament appearing in a bright red hand-drawn typeface.

The World Cup started and great to see the happiness of Africans with this event, which besides football means a lot to them, the world’s eyes are turned to Africa for the next 30 days.

The social aspect is important and will certainly make a difference in the future of Africans.

Too early to point favorites, but what I could see today, Argentina play very well against Nigeria and improve from last year which was terrible, the South Africa team in my opinion deserved to won against Mexico, sorry my Mexican friends, especially in the second half where they played better. Everybody desire to see South Africa on the second phase.

The World Cup news today was a terrible mistake from England’s Robert Green gave USA a share of the spoils in Group C’s. The game France and Uruguay is not worth comment, was an ugly game to see.

Lets see what comes next and hope the Brazilian national team debut towards the HEXA!

Black Eyed Peas opened the night and bring a special guest, Slash from Gun’s Roses. I don’t need to say anything more.

The Black Eyed Peas show was great, no playbacks, all live and Slash playing Sweet Child O’ Mine, at youtube you can see many videos showing his performance.

The production of this show is unbelievable, particularly the stage, really big and demonstrated the size of this project, high resolution screen in 360 degrees moving from the bottom to the top, a lot of high technology. Watch the video on You Tube and you will see what I mean, can you imagine that live?

I just can say, I will never forget this SHOW, I high recommend, and if I have a new opportunity to see this show live, I will see again. Here some pictures.

Historical day for Brazil, the 2016 Olympic Games will be in Brazil, at the Rio de Janeiro city.

For long time Brazil dream to bring back the FIFA World Cup and host for the first time the Olympic Games, the dream came true, both FIFA World Cup in 2014 and the Olympic games in 2016, awsome news for all Brazilian and very important victory, preparing the opportunity for thousand of new athlete and many investments for the sports.

Thousands of people celebrated Friday on crowded Copacabana beach as the announcement that Brazil had been chosen as the 2016 Olympics host played live over huge screens erected above the sand.
I’m so proud to be Brazilian, excited to see the many achievements in Brazil in recent years and no doubt many will come.

Congratulations Brazil, and of course I will be there to see both big events.

Last week I had the pleasure to visit Nappa Valley county, this region is very famous in California because of the wineries. We visited and love Domaine Carneros and Castello di Amorosa wineries.

Castello di Amorosa is located in Calistoga, 20 miles from Napa, you have to visited this place, a very nice Castle, they produce wine there and you can take a tour inside.

The directors wrote the story very well, also brings a lot of action and drama, may not have had the best effects or visual presentation, but the story is what it was all about.

The final battle between Sabertooth vs Wolverine & Weapon XI / Deadpool is one of the movie’s strengths, is clear that the next movie will come.

In my mind one doubt between Movable Type and WordPress, many reviews in internet about both tools, its help me a lot, at the end 3 points made my decision.

• Superior number of plugins/themes for WordPress
• Many Movable Type complaints about ant-spam filter
• 5 minutes to install WordPress, this is true
